Misty B. Franklin
Misty B. Franklin is an associate attorney and part of our Business Litigation team. Her practice focuses primarily on defending employers in class actions, wage and hour violation claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and various other Labor and Employment Law actions. Misty has extensive training in advanced mediation techniques with certifications in International Mediation, Real Property Mediations, and Mediating the Complex Litigated Case, to name a few.
Misty embraces the philosophy that in business litigation, it is critical to humanize companies and corporations. These are not faceless entities. We represent businesses that were created by business owners who sacrificed and made educated risks to build their business into what it is today. Our clients deserve to be represented by advocates that understand and appreciate the human side of business ownership.
Misty is also an Adjunct Law Professor of Legal Skills at the local, California-accredited, Kern County College of Law. In what is left of her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family anywhere there is a campfire.
