You Shouldn’t Miss This

I hear a lot of complaints that there is “nothing to do in Bakersfield.”  This week the Bakersfield Racquet Club is hosting the Bakersfield Tennis Open, a professional tournament that attracts some of the top U.S .and international players.  For no cost, spectators can watch world class tennis sitting ten feet from the court.  The action and speed of last night’s doubles match was unbelievable – four young men in their prime and leaving everything they have on the courts.  The tournament continues tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Don’t miss this chance to support a great event and watch some great tennis!
