The Money Issue: The Affordable Care Act and Financially Stressed Employees
The harsh reality is that the majority of working Americans are already living paycheck to paycheck, and it’s about to get worse. Unfortunately, due to the Affordable Care Act many employers have seen huge increases in their health care costs and have no other option except to shift more of those health care costs onto their already financially stressed employees. This session will take a look at what monetary worries will do to an employee’s health and well-being, and how that impacts a company’s health insurance spend and bottom line. Join financial expert, 25-year former banker and Guinness World Record Financial Literacy Program creator/presenter, Denise Winston as she shares insight on how financially stressed employees impact everyone who lives, works and does business in Kern County.
Denise Winston has inspired and empowered millions of people across the nation to take control of their financial lives.
